Why I Started This Journey
In May 2016, my twin sister Wendy began her battle with breast cancer. Over the course of five surgeries - including a double mastectomy - I witnessed firsthand the physical and emotional toll of recovery. But I also saw something beautiful: the quiet power of thoughtful gestures. Friends and family showed up with care packages, cozy items, and little surprises that lifted Wendy's spirits when she needed them most. Those moments stayed with me.
Not long after, my dear friend Yvette began her own fight. She faced it with grace and courage for over 6 years, but heartbreakingly, she lost her battle in November 2023. Supporting both Wendy and Yvette through their journeys opened my eyes to what care really looks like - not just medically, but emotionally. It's the soft blanket after surgery, the journal for late-night thoughts, the sparkle of a candle that reminds someone they're still radiant.
This company was born from those experiences. Everyone's lives are touched in someway by cancer. I wanted to create something that goes beyond essentials - something that wraps people in comfort, dignity, and a little bit of magic during one of life's hardest chapters. Every item I've chosen is inspired by love, resilience, and the belief that healing deserves beauty too.

Ease, Peace, and Joy
“A dear friend is going through a health crisis right now. I emailed Stephanie Kincaide, whose big-hearted startup—Sparkled Skies—aims to bring ease, beauty and joy to people facing a medical journey. This gift box was the perfect mix of practical and playful items to bring a smile to my friend's face and remind her how loved she is as she dips into it over the coming weeks. Thank you, Stephanie!”
